ElShift is employee scheduling software for shift-based teams. Managers plan and publish schedules, set staffing needs, and use Auto Assign for the repetitive work of placing employees. They can also review attendance and timesheets.
It uses the shifts and staffing needs you set, along with employee information such as leave, work patterns, weekly-hour settings, weekday and shift preferences, Locations, and applicable scheduling rules. A manager reviews and publishes the result.
If the rules you set leave no suitable employee for a required shift, ElShift can leave that place open and show the shortage. The manager can review the gap and decide what to do.
Yes. Managers can review and change the schedule before publishing. ElShift blocks physically invalid changes and shows reviewable scheduling warnings before an allowed override; deliberate overrides are recorded.
Starter is €30/month for up to 40 active employees, Professional is €75/month for up to 69, and Business is €125/month for up to 100. Multiple Locations start with Professional; departments and Employee Hub start with Business. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
On Business and Enterprise, employees can use the web Employee Hub to view published shifts and access Work Preferences, Leave, Attendance, Calendar, Actions, Profile and timesheets.
On eligible plans, employees can clock in, pause, resume and clock out. Attendance records actual time separately from the published schedule. Managers can review timesheets and export supported information; ElShift does not process payroll.
Employees can submit supported shift-swap and shift-change requests in Employee Hub. A colleague's response alone does not change the schedule. When a manager approves an eligible request, ElShift applies the change and republishes the affected date.
ElShift uses supported hour limits, rest periods and shift-transition rules when building schedules. Tell us about a country- or agreement-specific requirement and we’ll show you how to configure it in the platform. Schedules are checked against the settings you configure.
A manager can add a named holiday and date for the organization or a department and choose whether Auto Assign observes it. ElShift does not import national holidays automatically.
Yes. Contact ElShift and our team will create a trial account for the full product for 7 days. This is separate from the limited Auto Assign Lab, which you can try without an account or email.
Yes. Auto Assign Lab lets you try a small team and one week of shifts without an account or email. It is a limited demonstration, not the full ElShift product.
